Memento mori is a Latin phrase that translates to "remember you must die." A memento mori is something; historically a skull, that serves as a reminder to appreciate life because one day you will die. It was popularised in the mourning jewellery the 16th through the 18th centuries. Those mourning the dead would wear these items both to memorialise the dead and keep reminders of one's own mortality.
The Memento Mori Cluster Ring is crafted from Sterling Silver and set with either black cubic zirconia and garnet or black spinel and garnet. Inspired by the mourning jewellery of the 16th-18th Century it has two little skulls on either side of the gemstone cluster.
Available in an Oxidised or Bright Silver finish.
